Malawi military plane that crashed found

Harare—The Malawi Defence Forces plane that was carrying Vice President Saulos Chilima and nine others has been confirmed to have crashed in Mzuzu.

A search and rescue operation has located the wreckage, as President Lazarus Chakwera is set to address the nation.

Chilima took off from Lilongwe to Mzuzu yesterday to attend the funeral of a former cabinet minister and the plane flew into bad weather.
